This is a component for OA equipment with an outer diameter of φ27mm and a height of 46.5mm, made of PBT. During processing, a challenge was ensuring that the total pitch meshing error remained within the specified tolerance.
To address this issue, we modified the gate position and rib position during molding. As a result, we successfully controlled the total pitch meshing error within 140μm and single pitch meshing error within 48μm, while also improving the strength and rigidity, even in thin-walled areas.
