This is a molded pulley used in OA equipment.
Due to the thick-wall structure and the use of PC + GF material, maintaining dimensional stability of the circular area was technically challenging. Sink marks were a major concern during molding.
To address this, we proposed core-out design modifications during the product development stage to ensure both appearance and dimensional stability.
In the mold design, special attention was paid to minimize the mismatch at slide interfaces. Additionally, to optimize flow balance in thick-walled molding, we added extra gas vents beyond the usual configuration.
