This is a molding case study for a housing equipment component. Due to thick-wall sections in the product geometry, there were concerns regarding sink marks, while the thick corner radius areas also caused deformation issues such as inward warpage. In addition, strict tolerance requirements were specified for the related height dimensions. To address these issues, we proposed modifications to the thick R-section geometry to the customer as well.
