This is a molding case study for a housing equipment component. The mold incorporates a two-direction slide structure. The hole features include a geometric tolerance specifying true position, and the bottom surface of the through-hole area is also defined with a parallelism tolerance on the drawing. Therefore, the mold was refined through a trial-and-error process to achieve the required molding accuracy.
