This is a molding case study for a housing equipment component. Since surface roughness specifications were required for the sealing area on the drawing, the corresponding mold surfaces were polished to a near mirror-finish level. During molding, particular attention was paid to injection speed and mold temperature, and venting (air/gas release) was incorporated throughout the mold. In addition, because parallelism geometric tolerance was specified for the fitting area, the mold required careful refinement and optimization through repeated trial-and-error adjustments. During mass production, strict control is maintained to ensure compliance with the surface roughness specifications. If haze or cloudiness is observed, mold maintenance is carried out to maintain the required surface finish quality.
