This is a molding case study for a housing equipment component. Although the part geometry does not contain many highly difficult features, special attention was required to prevent sink marks caused by rib structures on the inner surface. In mass production, high-cycle molding was targeted as much as possible. By optimizing the mold cooling structure, both sink mark prevention and shorter cycle times were successfully achieved.
