This is a molding case study for an office automation (OA) equipment component. This product was designed to achieve both a flatness tolerance of 0.3 mm or less and low-cost production requirements, ensuring stable dimensional accuracy under high-cycle molding conditions. Specifically, deformation during molding was suppressed by optimizing rib placement and balancing rib thickness with the base wall thickness of the flat surface. Furthermore, a two-point pin gate located at one end was adopted to ensure stable moldability.
