This is a molding case study for components used in OA equipment. Since this component requires reliable sealing performance when fitted with its mating part, the inner diameter tolerance is strictly controlled one-sided tolerance of 0.05 mm. As roundness is also a critical requirement, a three-point gate design is employed. By using PPE, which offers low water absorption and excellent hydrolysis resistance, the required product specifications were successfully achieved.
